Terms of service

These terms apply to every order placed at Mimikin. By placing an order you agree to them.

1. Custom, handmade products

Each product is handmade to order from the photos and notes you provide. Because it is made by hand, every piece is unique: small variations in proportion, colour and stitching are part of the craft and are not defects. Crochet dolls are stylised interpretations, not exact replicas.

2. Your photos

By uploading photos you confirm that you have the right to use them and permission from the people shown. We use your photos only to make your order, and we never publish photos of you or your finished piece without your permission.

3. Content we decline

We may decline or cancel (with a full refund) any order involving offensive or hateful content, or trademarked and copyrighted characters we are not licensed to reproduce.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars and include the handmade work described on the product page. Shipping and any applicable taxes are shown at checkout. Payment is taken when you place your order.

5. Timelines and delivery

Production and delivery times on our site are estimates, set out in our shipping policy. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs or events outside our control.

6. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations, remakes and refunds are governed by our refund policy.

7. Product safety

Our dolls are decorative keepsakes. They contain small parts and are not suitable for children under 3 years old.

8. Intellectual property

All site content, including text, images and designs, belongs to Mimikin and may not be reused without permission.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order applies to that order.
